Once upon a time, in a town made of sparkling gumdrops and licorice swirls, lived a little robot named Rusty. Rusty wasn't like the other robots in town. They zipped around on shiny wheels, performing perfectly timed dances and delivering perfectly iced gumdrop sundaes. Rusty, however, had a wobbly wheel, a dented antenna, and a tendency to sneeze glitter. He longed for a friend, but the other robots were too busy being perfect. One sunny afternoon, a little girl named Lily skipped into Rusty's usually quiet corner of the gumdrop factory. Lily had bright, curious eyes and a giggle that sounded like wind chimes. She wasn't scared of Rusty's wobbly wheel or his glitter sneezes. In fact, she thought they were wonderful! "Hello!" she chirped, her voice as sweet as a strawberry lollipop. "You look like you need a friend."
